Crew
1 Captain, 1 Cook and 2 Sailors.
Captain and his crew were all very professional and attentive but also very warm and inviting as well. They added very personal touches with beautiful table and birthday party decorations and music.
Captain
Our captain was brought up in the blue cruise industry since childhood. His family owns other gulets which he has served on for over a decade. Captain Suleyman is very knowledgeable and open to client requests in route planning – when and where possible. He has been a contributing part of the construction of K. Mehmet Bugra – there is no place on board he doesn’t know. As a very valuable member of the crew, Captain Suleyman runs a tight ship to ensure total safety and enjoyment of his guests during their travels on board the K. Mehmet Bugra. Suleyman is a native of Bozburun, Turkey (Aegean Sea).
Chef
Our chef keeps a highly clean and organized galley. His experience creates a wide variety of dishes from the Mediterranean kitchen. Fresh and organic foods and produce is important to Chef Hayri, as is the flavor of the beautiful dishes prepared. He brings with him 33 years of experience and loves to teach or show guests how to prepare the dishes he knows if they wish. And if there is a dish he’s never made before and requested by guests, he’ll learn and use his own own style to add his personal taste. He bakes deserts on board. You can always expect a soft and sweet smiling face from Chef Hayri. Uniquely he carries his own guestbook of guest comments from the 15 years he has served on board gulets. Hayri is a native of Kastamonu, Turkey (Western Black Sea).
Deckhand
Our energetic deckhand Ozan has been with K. Mehmet Bugra since her construction (contributed to the build). He is a quiet chap and always aiming to please. When he’s not shining the chrome and washing the decks, Ozan offers his service experience to our Sr. Hostess during meal times. He has been a deckhand for 3 years. Ozan is a native of Bozburun, Turkey (Aegean Sea).
Sr. Deckhand
Our deckhand has been serving on board the K. Mehmet Bugra since her launch in April 2014. He serves as both engineer and senior deckhand taking care of all technical needs of the gulet. Ferdi is a native from the Black Sea region of Turkey.
Sr. Hostess
Our hostess shines with her fresh morning smiles, impeccable service, knowledge, skills and vast experience in the yachting industry. She prefers to be called Hostess. Her experience comes from serving many years on board high end motor yachts both charter and private. Hence, Hostess retains her professionalism with attention to detail, ensuring guests are more than satisfied while enjoying their time on board. As a very disciplined, yet adaptable team player, she loves to entertain family groups with children and a great asset to the crew of K. Mehmet Bugra. Ay?e is a native of Nazilli, Turkey (Aegean Sea).
Housekeer
Our young and dynamic housekeeper is serving aboard K. Mehmet Bugra for the first time this season. She is a sailor-in-training having completed the first stage of marine schooling – a trainee. Her goal is to become a Captain one day. She takes care of all areas in interior cleaning ensuring your living areas and cabins are in tip top condition. Cansel is a native of Ordu, Turkey. (Central Black Sea).
